Hi everyone. This isn’t actually Tricia, it’s me, Ming Min the new intern. I’ve actually been writing the last few posts on Tricia’s blog. Hmmm what can I tell you about myself. I am a 17 year old fashion blogger who lives in the whitest area of Colorado (Evergreen). I will be a senior this year and next year I am hoping to get into a fashion school, either F.I.T., CSU, or VCU. I am thrilled to be Tricia’s intern and learning what it takes to be a designer. You can visit me on my blog mattresses and metal if you would like to see some of my random fashion photos, and learn more about me! and don’t worry, I’m not as lazy as I look in this photo! ;-)
Tricia: ♥♥♥ even at mings laziest she is a huge help! Our other Intern Kate O’connor does more of the visual work, where Ming will pursue more of the marketing and computer posting. Be sure to check out her blog! ♥ them both! I will be training them on some sewing in the next few months… we will for sure post some of our malarky from time to time!
Despite cloudy weather and gusty winds local designers all over Colorado came to the Denver Art Museum to represent their clothing. Each designer had a model that was wearing his or her design. The model also carried a sign advertising their designer’s clothing line. We had many talented designers come to the flash mob and we were even joined by our own Project Runway designer, Mondo Guerra
For more information on the flash mob visit Remigio’s examiner article! Thanks Remy ♥
On July 31st the Arvada Fashion fest took place in Old Town Arvada. The show kicked off with the new designer competition. Then at 5 pm the Cher Ami collection walked the catwalk! KaiT, LamanBlu, and D’Lola courture. . the event was a great experience and a thrill to do! Thanks to D’Lola for putting together this awesome event!
The Cher-Ami fashion show was a success, and we had quite a few cell phone photos entered!
The person(s) who submitted the best cell phone photographs got a gift certificate for $250.00…
Almost all of the new collection (which will be posted soon…) will be from individuals at the show!
